I stumbled upon the attached photos on Facebook this morning and was dumbfounded.

An ordinary party Ward Councillor builds bridge in Bayelsa state.

Meanwhile some local government chairmen, house of rep members, senators, all they could build is toilet. Shay we come this life to come shit abi?

I heard that official cars were shared to all councilors in Bayelsa. But Hon. “Onem Tyna Miracle” asked for the money instead. Guess what she needed the money for?

She said her council people don’t have good roads, and the two villages in the council ward only connect by crossing a wooden bridge.

So, she would prefer using that money for the car to build a bridge to connect them, instead of driving a free car.

I learnt the money was not enough to complete the project after they did their quotation, she had to speak to the youths to help in doing the labor work free, since the money for the car can only procure the entire materials needed. Fortunately, the youth agreed..as you can see in the pictures below.

Ordinary Councilor ooh! This lady will go far in her political career. This I know for sure.

But Desmond Elliot, the lawmaker representing, Surulere Constituency, the only project he could set up for his people is a single Pit Toilet, wooden bridge and wash hand bowel.

I asked again, shay na shit we come this life to shit abi?

One house assembly member in Bonny LGA has been building “Fire Station” for the past 600 years. Yahaya Bello of Kogi state shares Wheelbarrows to the youths, while some share tricycles, goats and motorcycles.
