Again!!! Nigeria Records High Coronavirus Deaths In 24 Hours

Nigeria, on Sunday recorded its highest COVID-19 related deaths in a single day.

According to a tweet by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Nigeria recorded fifteen new deaths.

As of Saturday, Nigeria had 4151 confirmed cases and 128 deaths.

The NCDC said it recorded 248 new cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4399 and 143 deaths.

The tweet reads,

β€œ4399 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria

β€œDischarged: 778. Deaths: 143”

Meanwhile, according to Johns Hopkins University, as of May 10, COVID-19 cases have exceeded 4 million globally.

Over 279,000 have died and more than 1.3 million patients recovered.
