APC chairman killed in Zamfara

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Dodon Daji ward in Tsafe local government area in Zamfara state, Alhaji Yusuf A.D, has been killed. According to reports, Yusuf was killed by armed bandits at his home last night Friday February 22nd.



According to residents, the bandits stormed the community at about 8pm and then they started shooting until later when they had confirmed security operatives were not on sight.



The bandits kidnapped 20 persons during the attack.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP M Muhammad Shehu, said the police is on the trail of the bandits.
