AAC expels Omoyele Sowore

The African Action Alliance has expelled its National Chairman and presidential candidate in the 2019 election, Omoyele Sowore.

 

The party announced Sowore's suspension at its national convention which held in Owerri, the Imo State capital today August 9th. The party aslo suspended 28 other members of the party.

 

At the convention, the party announced Leonard Nzenwa as its new national chairman.

 

Sowore is currently being held by the Department of State Services over the #RevolutionNow protests.
