Today makes it exactly 10 years that we lost Legendary rapper, Olaitan Oladapo Olaonipekun popularly known as Dagrin to the cold hands of death.
The CEO (Chief Executive Omo-ita) as he fondly calls himself died on the 22nd April 2010 in a fatal accident.
Dagrin actually set the pace for other Yoruba indigenous rappers in the music industry today with his smashing hit singles, Ghetto Dreams, Pon Pon Pon, Hola Hola, and so on.
Even without being around for too long, the legendary impact of Dagrin in the Nigeria music of industry today cannot be over-emphasized, hence the reason we can’t even seem to forget him easily.
May his soul continue to rest in peace.
