Speaking about the song via Instagram; “For Hillsong Worship, our continual prayer has always been for Christ’s Church. As we enter 2021, we have articulated that prayer specifically and anew through our new song ‘Fresh Wind’. We can only rise to become the Church the Lord sees in His heart through an outpouring of the Spirit of God on the Church — we need a fresh wind, we need more of Jesus, and through this song we cry out to Him for it.”
